Award winning Journalist and Radio Host Cindy Burbano, was born in Venezuela from Ecuadorian parents.  This charismatic latina, has been the face and voice of the Hispanic community in Texas for over a decade. 

Working in both television and radio, Cindy understands the extreme importance of education as a tool of empowerment. She attended Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business majoring in Management, International Business and a minor in Marketing.  She furthered her formal education in Theater Arts and Drama.

Cindy followed her passion for the arts and became a full-time actress and television talent.  It did not take long before she was approached by ‘Telemundo Houston’, NBC Universal and signed on as the anchor for the morning news briefs.  ‘Breves AM con Cindy Burbano’ allowed her to give the news, weather and traffic for the morning commuters.  She then continued to help develop, produce and anchor a 1 hour morning newscast from 5am-6am, becoming the first morning news anchor on Telemundo Houston. 

Thru her work ethic and her undeniable charisma, it is no surprise Cindy was acknowledged by the network and was asked to work as the Texas Correspondent for 2 national shows. She worked on stories for ‘Al Rojo Vivo’ and ‘Un Nuevo Dia’ giving her a platform to reach an audience of millions airing nationally and internationally in over 60 countries.

​As an avid communicator, Cindy looked for a way to broaden her horizons and expand her career by joining Entercom, formely CBS Radio.  She currently co-hosts the morning show “Mega en tus Mananas” from 5am-10am on Mega 101 in Houston, Texas and serves as Correspondent for Telemundo's "Suelta la Sopa".
